 Working in concert with VAULT400's
Director and taking advantage of VAULT400's Delta Technology,
the iSeries Agent protects Native Objects, DB2 Databases,
IFS
Data and System Data delivering a full DR solution. Upon
completion, backups are Immediately Off-site, Secure, Encrypted
and Available for Recovery or Testing.
VAULT400's Delta Technology minimizes the amount of data that
needs to be offsite while achieving the equivalent of a
full backup every time. By leveraging Delta technology, the
iSeries Agent is able to significantly reduce backup times
compared with traditional tape-based solutions. Compression of
native data means that less data needs to be transferred to a
remote vault. Backups can be configured in parallel streams to
allow better utilization of system resources resulting in faster
backup times. Parallelization can also be achieved on restore,
allowing faster restore times when compared with traditional
tape-based off-site backup solutions.
