disk-to-disk technology designed to provide

VAULT400 Desktop technology
can be utilized as an online backup and recovery service, leveraging
existing infrastructure and Internet connections, to get data off-site to
one of VAULT400’s secure data centers. VAULT400 Desktop agents may also be
licensed for those that need to fill a critical hole in data protection
for larger businesses with remote offices, laptops and personal computers
not always on a network.
 Users
have the option to encrypt the data stored on the storage vault using AES
(Advanced
Encryption Standard). Even if the encryption option is not selected, the
data is still encrypted
during transmission over
the Internet to the electronic vault.
Perfect for the road
warrior – If a scheduled backup has been missed because a user is
offline or on the road, the agent can be
configured to run automatically when a network connection is
available.
